Landfill Operations. In conducting the disposal operations at the LANDFILL, CONTRACTOR will apply modern standards of WASTE disposal practices. All WASTE shall be disposed of at the LANDFILL or such other landfill or transfer facility that is designated by AGENCY as the appropriate disposal site.
Landfill Operations. Grantee hereby acknowledges that the Landfill operates in close proximity to the Easement and that the Landfill is subject to state and federal laws and regulations.
10.1 Grantee, for itself and its successors and assigns, hereby agrees that ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s use and maintenance of the Easement, or the Grantee Utility Facilities, shall not materially and adversely interfere with nor materially and adversely impact the Landfill’s operations, including closure and post-closure activities, or the Landfill Operator’s ability to comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. As of the Effective Date, Grantor represents and warrants that if Grantor properly installs and uses the Easement with the Grantee Utilities Facilities shown on Exhibit B, that such installation and use shall not materially and adversely interfere with nor materially and adversely affect the Landfill Operations, including closure and post-closure activities or the Landfill Operator’s ability to comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, as they exist on the Effective Date.
10.2 Grantee shall provide notice to the Landfill operator ten (10) days before beginning construction activities in, under, within or along the Easement in connection with the installation, use, maintenance or repair of the Easement or the Grantee Utility Facilities.
Landfill Operations. Landfill Equipment and Fuel Task Description: Levy County manages and operates an integrated solid waste management and disposal facility for Class I solid waste. Funds provided through this Agreement allow the Grantee to purchase (2) new Ford F250 pick up trucks for landfill operations including loading and transportation. Any costs exceeding the grant funding are the responsibility of the Grantee. Performance Standard: The Department’s Grant Manager will review the deliverables to verify that they meet the specifications in the Grant Work Plan and this task description. Upon review and written acceptance by the Department’s Grant Manager of all deliverables under this task, the Grantee may proceed with payment request submittal. Payment Request Schedule: The Grantee may submit a payment request for cost reimbursement quarterly. Payment requests shall be submitted within thirty (30) calendar days following completion of the quarter. The outlined documentation for the Deliverable(s) must have been submitted and accepted in writing by the Department’s Grant Manager prior to payment request submittal.

Landfill Operations. The DEEP post closure use permit will be applied for, and issued in the name of, the Town of Simsbury as owner of the landfill. Optionee will comply with permits and approvals related to the construction, operation or maintenance of the solar system on the Leased Premises. Obligations related to the operation or maintenance of the landfill remain the Owner’s responsibility.

When two (2) or more site/shift specific relief assignments commence on the same date, as outlined above in subsection C (i), the longest relief opportunity shall be assigned to the highest ranked eligible employee within the applicable Operating Section. Landfill Operations. County is solely responsible, at its sole cost and expense, for permitting, owning, operating and maintaining the Landfill consistent with industry standards and applicable law. County is responsible, at its sole cost and expense, for any improvements or modifications to the Landfill (with the exception of the Emerald Facilities), including without limitation the installation of flare off or similar equipment to manage the Landfill and Landfill Gas in a safe manner or to comply with County's legal obligations. Emerald must EPUD-LC Landfill Gas Agreement (2017 replacement agreement) Page 1 supply County with any records concerning the Emerald Facilities necessary for the County to maintain compliance with regulatory permits maintained for the Landfill.
