Common use of Late At-Sea Monitor Clause in Contracts

Late At-Sea Monitor. In the event that an ASM fails to arrive at the 42 scheduled sail time and/or place; the Vessel Captain must call their 43 Providers Program Manager, prior to setting sail. The Providers Program 44 Manager will verify that proper trip information was reported. Additionally, 45 the Program Manager may issue a verbal waiver to the Captain relieving the 1 vessel of its ASM obligation for the trip in question. Immediately upon 2 issuing a verbal waiver the Program Manager must notify the Sector 3 Manager, PTNS Coordinator and the Vessel (if requested) in writing that the 4 trip was granted a waiver due to a later ASM.
