Common use of Late Registration Clause in Contracts

Late Registration. 2.1.7.1 The late registration of a spouse and/or eligible dependent children may be permitted provided that the staff member pays the full cost of the additional premiums involved for retroactive coverage for the period from the date the spouse and/or dependent children became eligible to the actual date of application, or for a period of twelve (12) months, whichever is the shorter period.
