Common use of Later Joinder by States Clause in Contracts

Later Joinder by States. After the Preliminary Agreement Date, a State may only become a Settling State with the consent of the Settling Distributors, in their sole discretion. If a State becomes a Settling State more than sixty (60) calendar days after the Preliminary Agreement Date, but on or before January 1, 2022, the Subdivisions in that State that become Participating Subdivisions within ninety (90) calendar days of the State becoming a Settling State shall be considered Initial Participating Subdvisions. A State may not become a Settling State after January 1, 2022.

Later Joinder by States. After the Preliminary Agreement Date, a State may only become a Settling State with the consent of the Settling DistributorsXxxxxxx, in their its sole discretion.
