Common use of Laws and Regulations Incorporated by Reference Clause in Contracts

Laws and Regulations Incorporated by Reference. All federal and District of Columbia laws and regulations, and all Department procedures and standard provisions now or hereafter in effect, whether or not expressly provided for or referred to in the Contract, are incorporated by reference herein and shall be binding upon the Design-Builder and the Department. It shall be the responsibility of the Design-Builder to perform the Contract in conformance with the Department’s procurement regulations and all statutes, laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, requirements, and orders of governmental bodies, including, without limitation, the U.S. Government and the District of Columbia government; and it is the sole responsibility of the Design-Builder to determine the procurement regulations, statutes, laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, requirements, and orders that apply and their effect on the Design-Builder’s obligations thereunder.
