LAY-OFFS – PRIORITY. 6.10.1 When there is no work, permanently employed diving personnel shall be laid off. A lay-off notice may be issued with effect from the time when earned time off has been taken, independent of the notification deadlines in the Main Agreement. The company's duty to pay wages lapses in accordance with the Act relating to duty to pay wages in connection with lay-offs. With regard to lay-off confirmation, reference is made to Section 8-4 of the Main Agreement.
