Leave for Legal Actions. An employee who is not a party to a legal action or court proceeding and who is subpoenaed to appear in a court action, before a grand jury, before an administrative agency, or for a deposition, may be absent from the job without loss of pay or charge to any leave. Employees must advise the immediate supervisor of the prospective date of the appearance in court upon receipt of the subpoena. The employee shall provide documentation to verify attendance.
