Common use of Leave for Upgrading or Retraining Clause in Contracts

Leave for Upgrading or Retraining. Upon request by the Member and with approval of the Board, a Member who would otherwise be laid off, shall be granted a leave of absence of up to two (2) years for educational upgrading, to become qualified for teaching assignments which may be required by the Board.
