Leave of Absence for Personal Illness. Upon the written request of a teacher, the Board shall grant a leave of absence without pay for a period of not more than two (2) consecutive school years due to the teacher’s personal illness or disability. In the case of mouth ailments, the certificate may be signed by a Doctor of Dental Science or Doctor of Dental Surgery.
