Leaves Terminating Within The School Year. Any teacher seeking a leave of absence for child rearing and wishing to return to employment within a school year in which he/she commences his/her leave shall apply to the Board of Education for said leave at any time prior to birth. At the time of application, the teacher shall specify in writing the date on which he/she wishes to commence leave and the date which he/she wishes to return to work after birth.
