Common use of LEED Certification / Sustainability Clause in Contracts

LEED Certification / Sustainability. The Design Professional shall actively work with and support the District to promote “green concepts” and techniques and to incorporate these concepts into the building design. The Design Professional shall also work to establish sustainability goals and to develop guidelines for decision making consistent with these goals and the criteria for evaluating and monitoring the achievement of these goals.

LEED Certification / Sustainability. The Design Professional shall actively work with and support the District District’s Sustainability Committee to promote “green concepts” and techniques and to incorporate these concepts into the building design. The Design Professional shall also work with this Committee to establish sustainability goals and to develop guidelines for decision making consistent with these goals achieving a minimum of LEED Silver Certification and the criteria for evaluating and monitoring the achievement of these goals.

The Design Professional shall actively work with and support the District to promote “green concepts” sustainable concepts and techniques and to incorporate these concepts into the building design. The Design Professional shall also work to establish sustainability goals and to develop guidelines for decision decision-making consistent with these goals and the criteria for evaluating and monitoring the achievement of these goals.
