Common use of Legal Counsel and Fees Clause in Contracts

Legal Counsel and Fees. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement and the Release, the Parties agree to bear their own costs and attorneys’ fees, if any. Executive acknowledges that Employer, by this Agreement, has advised him that Executive may consult with an attorney of Executive’s choice prior to executing this Agreement and the Release. Executive acknowledges that Executive has had the opportunity to be represented by legal counsel during the negotiation and execution of this Agreement and the Release, and that Executive understands Executive will be fully bound by this Agreement and the Release.
