Legal Purposes. The Board shall grant leave to appear in any legal proceeding which the certificated employee is required to attend. Time lost for the following matters shall not be covered under this provision: Any legal proceeding arising out of an employee's refusal to perform work or otherwise engage in any concerted work stoppage against the Board or in any legal proceeding arising out of a suit in which the employee is a plaintiff against the Board.
