Common use of Legal Representation of Investec Clause in Contracts

Legal Representation of Investec. The parties hereto acknowledge that Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx & Xxxxxxx LLP ("Xxxxxx Xxxxx") was retained by Investec to represent Investec in connection with the transactions contemplated hereby and that, notwithstanding the fact that from time to time Xxxxxx Xxxxx has represented various affiliates of the Subscriber in connection with specific transactions, the parties understand Xxxxxx Levin's preparation of this Agreement and the documents contemplated hereby was solely at the request of and in its role as counsel to Investec. Neither party hereto is relying on Xxxxxx Xxxxx for representation or advice in connection with this Agreement or with the transactions contemplated hereby and without a written agreement to the contrary, Xxxxxx Xxxxx shall owe no duties to any party hereto.
