Length of Professional Development/Sabbatical Leave. Professional Development/Sabbatical Leave may be granted for a full academic year or for one semester. After consultation with and approval from the appropriate administrator and the cognizant Vice President, a full year's leave may be taken in two consecutive semesters of two (2) different academic years if the applicant can show a need for such an arrangement and the affected School concur. Such approval must be granted prior to the submission of the proposal to the Sabbatical Leave Review Committee pursuant to Section 5.17.10.1.1.
