Common use of Lessee to Keep Records Clause in Contracts

Lessee to Keep Records. Lessee shall keep records of truck scale weights, or river barge dead weight surveys, or railroad car weights, whichever is applicable, together with accurate surveys and progress maps used in conjunction with accepted and recognized engineering methods which shall be taken as the basis for payment of Production Royalty Payments. Lessee shall keep a true and correct record of all coal mined, removed and sold from the Premises and shall permit Lessor or its agents, at all reasonable times, to inspect the records, and perform other practical and reasonable investigations to check the accuracy of the records of Lessee. Lessor, through its agents, may enter upon the Premises at any time for the purpose of verifying the quantity of coal removed therefrom.
