Lessor May Assign Clause Samples

The "Lessor May Assign" clause gives the lessor the right to transfer their interest in the lease to another party without needing the lessee's consent. In practice, this means the property owner can sell or assign their rights and obligations under the lease to a new owner or entity, and the lessee must continue to honor the lease terms with the new lessor. This clause is important because it provides flexibility for the lessor to manage or dispose of their property interests, ensuring that their ability to sell or restructure ownership is not hindered by the lease agreement.
