Common use of Letters of Certification Clause in Contracts

Letters of Certification. A copy of each proposed MBE/WBE firm's current Letter of Certification from the City of Chicago or Xxxx County Illinois, must be submitted with the bid/proposal. All Letters of Certification issued by the City of Chicago and Xxxx County include a statement of the MBE/WBE firm's Area of Specialty. The MBE/WBE firm's scope of work, as detailed by their Schedule C-1, must conform to their stated Area of Specialty. Letters of Certification for firms that the City or Xxxx County has found ineligible or has decertified will not be accepted.
