Common use of License for the University’s Internal Use Clause in Contracts

License for the University’s Internal Use. A Member who creates intellectual property in the course of the Member’s normal duties and responsibilities as defined by this Agreement will grant the University, solely for the University’s internal use, a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, and non-transferable license to use the work for non-commercial educational and research purposes. This license will not apply to copyrightable material created by a Member and intended for use only by the students registered in the Member’s course.
