Common use of Licensee Election of Rights Clause in Contracts

Licensee Election of Rights. Licensee shall notify UGARF in writing, with sufficient notice so as not to compromise UGARF’s or Licensee’s rights, of the countries in which Licensee wishes patent or applications along the Licensed Patents to be filed, including but not limited to national phase filings and registrations in individual countries stemming from regional filings. UGARF shall use reasonable efforts to file for, prosecute, and maintain protection for those timely requested by Licensee.
