Common use of Licenses, Permits and Taxes Clause in Contracts

Licenses, Permits and Taxes. Subcontractor shall secure and pay for all required permits, governmental fees, and licenses necessary for proper execution and completion of the Work. Subcontractor shall pay all sales, use, consumer, gross receipts or other similar taxes relating to the performance of the Work. Upon Contractor’s request, Subcontractor shall promptly furnish to Contractor a certificate from the appropriate state and local taxing authorities evidencing payment of all applicable taxes.
