Common use of Lien Contests Clause in Contracts

Lien Contests. ‌ If Xxxxxx has a good faith dispute as to any lien for which Xxxxxx is responsible, Lessee may contest the same by appropriate proceedings so long as Lessee bonds over the lien or deposits with Lessor security in an amount acceptable to Lessor (but in no event more than the amount required by applicable Laws) which may be used by Lessor to release such lien and pay interest and costs if Xxxxxx’s contest is abandoned or is unsuccessful. Upon final determination of any permitted contest, Xxxxxx will promptly pay any judgment rendered and cause the lien to be released.
