Lighting Systems. A. Contractor shall review and confirm as-built lighting plans for sites with existing lighting. Where as-builts do not exist or are not accurate, Contractor shall develop as-built lighting plans for all sites with existing lighting, identifying existing fixtures and existing light levels in target canopy areas.
B. Canopy lighting systems shall be designed to meet the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) requirements for parking lot areas, to meet or exceed minimum values and maximum uniformity ratios as listed in the IESNA criteria.
C. Lighting shall meet all Title 24 requirements for installations in California.
D. All lighting sources shall be LED type.
E. Lighting control system shall be connected to the existing lighting controls in each area. If tie- in with existing circuits is not feasible, Contractor shall establish new circuit and controls. Contractor shall field verify that existing lighting circuit conductor, controls, and overcurrent protective device at the circuit point of supply are sufficiently rated for the final lighting load after removal of existing lighting and addition of new lighting. The Contractor shall notify the Owner if existing conductors or infrastructure are found to be deficient, and connection of the new lighting to the new project panelboard shall be implemented by Contractor.
F. Lighting design on canopies shall insure cut-off light control to limit spill light or glare to adjoining areas as-needed. Design and install custom shielding or other mitigation measures to avoid light pollution and glare to neighbors.
G. Lighting temperature or Xxxxxx Rating shall be consistent with Owner Standards and approved during design phase. Contractor shall provide Owner a submittal for fixtures and obtain written approval from Owner of temperature rating prior to ordering fixtures.
H. Existing pole mounted lighting in areas of new carport canopies shall be removed. Modify other existing lighting to coordinate with the new work and design, including reconnection of any existing downstream circuiting and controls to remain. Foundations of existing pole mount lighting are to be completely removed a minimum of 6-inchs below grade, with grade restored to surrounding condition and demo’d material removed and disposed of by Contractor. Light standards and fixtures shall be carefully removed and returned to the Owner at Owner’s option. Contractor to confirm prior to demo.

Lighting Systems. Average light power densities are to be designed to the lesser of 1) 30% below ASHRAE 90.1-2007 or 2) less than or equal to the prescriptive requirements of California Title 24, Part 6-2013 Item 10 Continuously dimming daylighting controls are to be provided at areas beneath skylights and at the glazed perimeter of the building in order to comply with sections 130.1(d) and 140.6(d) of California Title 24, Part 6-2013.
Lighting Systems. The Landlord has the exclusive right to replace bulbs, tubes and ballasts in the lighting system in the Premises, on either an individual or a group basis. The Tenant shall pay the cost of such replacement as Additional Rent at the same time as Minimum Rent is payable, or as otherwise directed by the Landlord. The Landlord may impose additional charges for changing specialty lighting.

Landlord reserves the right to determine use and location ol either style of fixture.

a. Lighting control must comply with Title 24 requirements (including over-ride control for automatically shutting the lights off at prescribed periods of time and the ability to over-ride the lighting control for up to two hours of use).
b. Lighting control equipment shall include a programmable lighting control panel, relay panels {quantity as necessary), over-ride switches (distributed throughout the space), and interconnecting conductors.
c. Control zones to include perimeter areas for dayi spaces, skylit areas, and interior areas under 5,OOOSF.
d. Lighting over-rids switches to be located in corridors and similar areas to allow ease of access.

d. Fixture laxxxxx xnd quantities must comply with the Title 24 energy budget. • Fixtures to be LED where possible to extend lamp life and reduce wattage
e. Dimming drivers to be provided for all new fixtures unless specified otherwise.
f. Photocell control will be provided for all Title 24 required areas.
g. Motion sensors are to be provided for all lab, office, storage and support areas.
Lighting Systems. Kitchen/servery: Lighting for the kitchen/servery will be provided as a part of the allowance referenced in section 8.1.1 above.
Lighting Systems. Operate, repair and replace, as needed, all decorative accent lighting systems and component and, associated calculated electrical energy cost as described above. Accent lighting includes, but is not limited to, tree up-lighting, tree twinkle lights, themed signage lighting. Accent lighting fixtures shall be maintained per manufacturer’s guidelines and kept in working order. Adjustments to lighting shall be performed as needed. Burnt out bulbs shall be replaced as soon as practical. Since portions on the electrical system are shared with the pedestrian lighting system(City), only the system components immediately accessible (for example, the bulb/light housing, the electrical outlet for tree lights, the 6-12 inches of conduit riser below ground) are to be maintained by TAVA. The remainder of the electrical system will be maintained by the City.
Lighting Systems. The existing flood-lighting of the Gardens is basic and our stand-by generator is only adequate for the permanent electrical installation. Our clients are welcome to use our extensive electrical outlets evenly spread throughout the Gardens on condition that they bring their own generator. Here again, our clients may bring in the professional of their choice but we recommend Xx. Xxxx Xxxxxx 03 331 586 who is also very familiar with the place.
Lighting Systems. The lighting system will consist of ambient lighting, task lighting, accent lighting and decorative lighting. Each lighting type and style will be found throughout the facility. In some spaces, lighting fixtures will provide either one or more lighting effect. In most spaces, overhead lighting fixtures will provide the ambient lighting. In the offices and conference rooms, recessed or surface LED direct/indirect lighting fixtures will provide the ambient lighting which will also be the task lighting. In the main lobbies, pendant LED fixtures will provide the ambient lighting and be a decorative element to the area. Scale and color for the fixtures will be coordinated with the architect. • In the labs, the lighting fixtures will be 2x4 recessed LED lighting fixtures with a lens. • All lighting fixtures and associated controls will meet the California Energy Code and IES recommendations.
