Limitation in Termination Compensation. Irrespective of the reason for termination or the party terminating, the total sum paid to the Construction Manager shall not exceed the Contract Construction Price, as properly adjusted, reduced by the amount of payments previously made and penalties or deductions incurred pursuant to any other provision of this Contract for Construction Management, and shall in no event include duplication of payment.
