Common use of Limitation on Authority and No Other Obligations Clause in Contracts

Limitation on Authority and No Other Obligations. Construction Manager will have no authority to act for or on behalf of Owner or the State of Texas except as expressly provided for in this Contract; no other authority, power, or use is granted or implied. Owner hereby expressly reserves the right from time to time to designate by written notice to Construction Manager to act partially or wholly for Owner in connection with the performance of Owner’s obligations hereunder. Construction Manager may not incur any debts, obligations, expenses, or liabilities of any kind on behalf of Owner or the State of Texas.
