Limitations on Disposition of and Encumbrances on Leased Property. (a) Except as otherwise permitted in this Article or Article IX, XII or XIII hereof and except for Permitted Encumbrances, (i) neither the Trustee nor the County shall sell, assign, transfer or convey any portion of or any interest in the Leased Property or directly or indirectly create, incur or assume any mortgage, pledge, lien, charge, encumbrance or claim on or with respect to the Leased Property, and (ii) the County shall promptly take such action as may be necessary to duly discharge any such mortgage, pledge, lien, charge, encumbrance or claim.
