Minority Participation It is the policy of the State of Georgia that minority business enterprises shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the State purchasing and contracting process. Therefore, the State of Georgia encourages all minority business enterprises to compete for, win, and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, the State encourages all companies to sub-contract portions of any State contract to minority business enterprises. Design Professionals who utilize qualified minority subcontractors may qualify for a Georgia state income tax deduction for qualified payments made to minority subcontractors. See O.C.G.A. §48-7-38. Pro Rata Payments Payments to the Holders shall be pro rata with other Holders who purchased Notes in the same oRering, based on the Principal Amount of each such Note. If a Holder receives a payment in excess of his, her, or its pro rata share, the excess shall be deemed to be held in trust for the benefit of other Holders.
Mandatory Participation Participation in the Special Pay Plan is mandatory for all 24 eligible teachers.
Voluntary Deductions A. The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of any employee who is a member of the Union a DRIVE and/or a Teamsters Legal Defense Fund deduction as provided for in a written authorization. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Employer and the Union. The beginning and/or termination of this deduction will coincide with the payroll cycle. The Employer agrees to remit any deductions made pursuant to this provision to the Union together with a report showing:
Co-Payments Effective January 1, 2020, the State Dental Plan will cover allowable charges for the following services subject to the co- payments and coverage limits stated. Higher out-of-pocket costs apply to services obtained from dental care providers not in the State Dental Plan network. Services provided through the State Dental Plan are subject to the State Dental Plan's managed care procedures and principles, including standards of dental necessity and appropriate practice. The plan shall cover general cleaning two (2) times per year and special cleanings (root or deep cleaning) as prescribed by the dentist.
Voluntary Participation The Grantee’s participation in the Plan is voluntary. The value of the Restricted Stock Units is an extraordinary item of compensation. Unless otherwise expressly provided in a separate agreement between the Grantee and the Company or a Subsidiary, the Restricted Stock Units are not part of normal or expected compensation for purposes of calculating any severance, resignation, redundancy, end-of-service payments, bonuses, long-service awards, pension or retirement benefits or similar payments.
Participation Fees Vendor or vendor assigned dealer Agreements to pay the participation fee for all Agreement sales to TIPS on a monthly scheduled report. Vendor must login to the TIPS database and use the “Submission Report” section to report sales. The Vendor or vendor assigned dealers are responsible for keeping record of all sales that go through the TIPS Agreement. Failure to pay the participation fee will result in termination of Agreement. Pay for Unused Sick Leave Unused sick leave not to exceed 70 days will be paid at the rate of $50 per day when the teacher retires or leaves U.S.D. 506 employment, provided the teacher has a minimum of 10 years of service in U.S.D. 506. Article VI: Activity Ticket Each teacher of U.S.D. 506 shall be issued an activity ticket, which shall be honored at all regular school functions held within the district. Said ticket shall not be honored at basketball tournaments and special events. Said ticket shall be honored for employee, spouse, and children who have not yet graduated from high school. The Board of Education will have an expectation that those teachers in attendance at school functions will assume a reasonable amount of general supervision as needed.
DETERMINATION OF HUB PARTICIPATION A firm must be an eligible HUB and perform a professional or technical function relating to the project. Proof of payment, such as copies of canceled checks, properly identifying the Department’s contract number or project number may be required to substantiate the payment, as deemed necessary by the Department. A HUB subprovider, with prior written approval from the Department, may subcontract 70% of a contract as long as the DocuSign Envelope ID: 1FDB1C48-24B1-4C40-8A33-17263E465FE2 HUB subprovider performs a commercially useful function. All subcontracts shall include the provisions required in the subcontract and shall be approved as to form, in writing, by the Department prior to work being performed under the subcontract. A HUB performs a commercially useful function when it is responsible for a distinct element of the work of a contract; and actually manages, supervises, and controls the materials, equipment, employees, and all other business obligations attendant to the satisfactory completion of contracted work. If the subcontractor uses an employee leasing firm for the purpose of providing salary and benefit administration, the employees must in all other respects be supervised and perform on the job as if they were employees of the subcontractor.
