Lobbyists and Agent Fees. The Recipient represents and warrants:
(a) Any person hired by the Recipient to speak or correspond with any employee or other person representing Ontario concerning any matter relating to any Funds under this Agreement or any benefit hereunder is registered, if required to register, pursuant to the Lobbyists Xxxxxxxxxxxx Xxx, 0000;
(b) It has not and will not make a payment or other compensation to any legal entity that is contingent upon or is calculated upon the provision of any Funds hereunder or negotiating the whole or any part of the terms and/or conditions of this Agreement; and
(c) No money from the Government of Ontario was used to lobby or otherwise secure the provision of any Funds hereunder.
Lobbyists and Agent Fees. Yukon warrants that any person who lobbies or has lobbied on its behalf to obtain funding, or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyists Registration Act (Canada), is registered accordingly. Furthermore Yukon warrants that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.

Furthermore, Newfoundland and Labrador warrants that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.
b) Canada warrants that any person who lobbies or has lobbied on its behalf to obtain funding, or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyist Registration Act, S.N.L., 2004, L-24.1, is registered accordingly.

New Brunswick warrants that any person who lobbies or has lobbied on its behalf to obtain funding, or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyists Registration Act (Canada), is registered accordingly. Furthermore New Brunswick warrants that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.

British Columbia and the UBCM warrant that any person who lobbies, or has lobbied on its behalf, to obtain funding or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyists Registration Act (Canada), is registered accordingly. Furthermore British Columbia and the UBCM warrant that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.

Ontario warrants that any person who lobbies or has lobbied on its behalf to obtain funding, or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyists Registration Act (Canada), is registered accordingly. Furthermore Ontario warrants that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.

a) warrants that any person it has hired, for payment, to speak to or correspond with any employee or other person representing Canada on the Recipient’s behalf, concerning any matter relating to the contribution under this Agreement or any benefit hereunder and who is required to be registered pursuant to the Lobbying Act, as amended, is registered pursuant to that Act; and
b) warrants it has not and will not make a payment or other compensation to any legal entity that is contingent upon or is calculated upon the contribution hereunder or negotiating the whole or any part of the terms of this Agreement. In the event of a breach of a) or b), Canada may either terminate this Agreement or recover from the Recipient the full amount of the compensation paid by the Recipient.

Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Island warrants that any person who lobbies or has lobbied on its behalf to obtain funding, or any benefit under this Agreement, and who is subject to the Lobbyists Registration Act (Canada), is registered accordingly. Furthermore, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Island warrants that no remuneration based on a percentage of Canada’s contribution will be paid to a lobbyist.
