Local Agreements Superseded. 111 The provisions of this Cross-Regional Master Agreement shall supersede and replace the equivalent provisions of the local agreements between the Employers and the Unions listed in Attachment 1. If a local agreement does not contain an equivalent provision, the provision of this Cross-Regional Master Agreement shall become a new provision of the local agreement. If there are differences between the bargaining unit descriptions in Attachment 1 and the descriptions contained in a local agreement, the descriptions in the local agreements shall control. 112 Section 2 – Purpose 113 It is the intent and purpose of the parties to set forth herein their Agreement covering rates of pay, hours of work and conditions of employment for employees covered by this Agreement, to collaboratively work to provide high quality, affordable services and care for patients and members, and to promote harmonious relations between the Employer and the Union.
