LOCAL BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT. 12.1 The Lessor acknowledges that the Lessee seeks to promote employment and business opportunities for local residents and firms on all Lessee agreements. The Lessor will, to the extent legally possible, solicit applications for employment, and bids and proposals for subcontractors, for work associated with this Agreement from local residents and firms as opportunities occur. The Lessor agrees to hire qualified local residents and firms whenever feasible.
