LOCAL BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT. Contractor acknowledges that City seeks to promote employment and business opportunities for local residents and firms on all City contracts. Contractor shall, to the extent reasonably possible, solicit applications for employment, as well as bids and proposals for subcontracts for work associated with this Agreement, from local residents and firms as opportunities occur. Contractor shall hire qualified local residents and firms whenever feasible.
