Common use of LOCKS AND KEYS Clause in Contracts

LOCKS AND KEYS. The Tenant will not place additional locks upon any door of the Residential Premises or alter the locks in any way without the written consent of the Landlord. The Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord a fee for any lock changes and additional keys required by the Tenant. The Tenant will not have copies made of any keys or keycards issued by the Landlord.

Only the Tenant, their Occupant, or a person authorized to sublet the unit pursuant to this Contract is permitted to possess keys to the unit. Unauthorized possession or unauthorized use of residence keys is prohibited and may result in eviction. The Tenant will not have copies made of any keys or keycards issued by the Landlord.
