Mail DistributionThe Union shall be responsible for delivering Union material to the facility where the employee works. The Union shall address all communications to a particular individual. The Shop Xxxxxxx shall be responsible for distribution. The Union may also utilize the electronic mail system for the purpose of conducting regular business with the management of the District.
Mail Distribution. UUP shall have the right to use intra-College mail distribution services and mailboxes for distribution at a College of addressed UUP printed matter. Methods for implementing this provision at a College shall be consistent with the College’s operating needs.

(2) The Union may use the Employer’s internal and external mail system to distribute mail for official representational purposes. Reasonable notice of a planned desk drop must be given to the appropriate Labor Relations Specialist. Such notice will be given either verbally or in writing far enough in advance so that one (1) full workday elapses between receipt of the notice and execution of the desk drop. 2. The employee performing the desk drop will do so on his or her own time (e.g. lunch periods, before/after work, on annual leave, credit time, or time-off award, or LWOP). When desk drops are performed after work hours, they will be completed by the time the building normally closes. 3. The following area will be considered "restricted areas" and desk drops will not be performed in them: Labor Relations Offices, management areas, or offices in which no bargaining unit employees are located. 4. Employees will not read the material during work time and the Chapter will instruct the employees to this effect.
Mail Distribution a. A mail distribution box will be provided to the labor organization at the central distribution point and each facility of the Kansas Army Nation Guard. b. As employees, labor organization representatives are provided with an e- mail address and have access to a computer at their work site. Representatives may use this address for official labor organization communications (official business only).

The Employer will make best efforts not to open mail addressed specifically to the Union.
