Main objective. 1.1 The objects of the Association shall be as follows:
1.1.1 To research and document the heritage and history of Monk Fryston, Hillam and Xxxxxx Xxxxxx for the future use and interest of the general public.
1.1.2 The arrangement of educational talks, lectures, workshops, seminars and courses for the education of members.
1.1.3 To encourage free discussion and co-operative research for the benefit of all the members, whereby all members agree that any information freely shared with other members thereby becomes the intellectual property of the association for a minimum period of 5 years after a member ceases to be a member of the association and precludes that member or former member using the information for personal gain without the express permission of the association members for the period specified.
1.2 Membership shall be open to all over the age of 16 years who are resident in Monk Fryston or surrounding areas and who are parties to this Agreement or accede to it, as provided in clause 1.3.
1.3 Further Members may accede to the terms of this Agreement in writing.
1.4 This Agreement is not intended to form a partnership.
Main objective. 2.1 The main objectives of the ASSOCIATION, which the ASSOCIATION and its members will at all times strive to achieve, are as follows:
2.1.1 To attract members of the live events industry, and to represent its MEMBERS in the promotion and advancement of their interests within the production services industry
2.1.2 To promote the advancement of the knowledge and skills of its MEMBERS and the production services association
2.1.3 To promote Health and Safety issues within the industry
Main objective. This QAA is a contractual instrument whose aim is to allow the Supplier and KIPP to define technical and organizational procedures together with targets in order to produce defect-free products and to deliver the right products in the ordered amount, while respecting deadlines. Jointly agreed measures of error prevention and early fault detection are crucial aids to maintain low production costs. It contains rules for immediate and corrective measures in the event of complaints and tasks to promote the performance of both contractual partners. The QAA is an essential contractual document that guarantees a long- term supply partnership for the benefit of both parties.
Main objective. To provide a live and on-demand virtual platform for occasional connection to Users. Xxxx uses gamification and AI tools to enhance and engage the audience experience with events and other content.
Main objective. We envision opportunistic activity recognition systems. They are goal-oriented sensor assemblies that spontaneously arise and self-organize to achieve a common goal, here activity and context recognition. The objective of OPPORTUNITY is to develop generic principles, algorithms and system architectures to reliably recognize complex activities and contexts despite the absence of static assumptions about sensor availability and characteristics in opportunistic systems. The objective of this project is to develop mobile systems to recognize human activity and user context with dynamically varying sensor setups, using goal oriented, cooperative sensing. We refer to such systems as opportunistic, since they take advantage of sensing modalities that just happen to be available, rather than forcing the user to deploy specific, application dependent sensor systems. This project is grounded in wearable computing and pervasive/ubiquitous computing, collectively named hereafter Ambient Intelligence (AmI). The vision of AmI is that of pervasive but transparent technology, always on, always present, that provides the appropriate information, assistance and support to users at appropriate moments, proactively and in a natural way. The key mechanism to achieve this is to recognize the user's activities and the user's context from body-worn and ambient sensor-enabled devices, in order to infer automatically when, how, and by which modality to support the user. OPPORTUNITY aims to develop a novel paradigm for context and activity recognition that will remove the up-to-now static constraints placed on sensor availability, placement and characteristics. This is in contrast to most state of the art approaches that assume fixed, narrowly defined sensor configurations dedicated to often equally narrowly defined recognition tasks. Thus, currently, for each application, the user needs to place specific sensors at certain well-defined locations in the environment and on his body. For a widespread use of context awareness and activity recognition this approach is not realistic. As the user moves around, he is at times in highly instrumented environments, where a lot of information is available. At other times he stays in places with little or no sensor infrastructure. Concerning on-body sensing, the best one can realistically expect is that at any given point in time the user carries a more or less random collection of sensor enabled devices. Such devices include mobile phones (tod...
Main objective. Inland Revenue and the Ministry of Social Development must work together closely to deliver the service improvements expected by government and customers and that requires information to be available more fluidly across organisational boundaries. This doesn’t currently happen under the status quo. There are efficiency gains that cannot be achieved under this option due to the limitations of the current information sharing agreements, which are very prescriptive. This option ensures sufficient protection of people’s privacy and a proper level of security and transparency. However, the benefits are limited and do not result in improvements in the integrity of the tax and benefit systems. Although Inland Revenue shares information with the Ministry of Social Development to ensure integrity of benefits, information is not shared in relation to student allowance or social housing. This option is not future proof as it is not flexible enough to respond to the upcoming organisational changes, Government’s and customer’s expectations.
Main objective. The AISA framework was created for the purpose of delivering efficient and effective public services, so this approach to information sharing would provide easier and faster access to government services and reduced compliance costs for customers. From a customer perspective, greater sharing of customer information facilitated by the proposed AISA would, over time: reduce the need for individuals to interact with agencies on multiple occasions or to provide duplicate information to government agencies; make it easier for individuals to meet their obligations, thereby reducing adverse outcomes such as accumulating debt; and meet evolving expectations of the public to provide joined-up social services across government agencies. This option meets the main objective.
Main objective. This option only partially meets the main objective because it only allows information to be shared in one way, from Inland Revenue to another agency. This option limits sharing to information that the agency already has the legal authority to collect. It also has the limitation of being a one-way sharing. This will limit the compliance and administrative efficiencies that can be achieved with this option. This would be worse than the status quo. This provision also contains protections for people’s privacy similar to option 2. Also consultation with the Privacy Commissioner and affected organisations is required before an OIC is made under this section. This is an improvement on the status quo. This is not a sustainable option because it is limited to one–way information sharing only. This is the same as the status quo.
Main objective. This option would not achieve the main objective because it would make new information sharing agreements for housing assistance and student allowance using the same framework as the status quo. No efficiency gains would be achieved under this option because it would maintain the status quo. Even though more information would be shared, this option would not provide the wider purpose necessary to achieve that, so is the same as the status quo.
Main objective. The Residência Eng.º Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx (RDP) is one of the accommodation units of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), and has been operating since November 1998. Its main purpose is to promote access to agreeable accommodation, in a friendly environment, for displaced students enrolled within the IST research and teaching process.
