Maintain the Cone of Silence. Contractors shall maintain a Cone of Silence during required times of the contracting process to ensure that the process is shielded from even the appearance of undue influence. Contractors and their Representatives risk disqualification from consideration and/or other penalties outlined in Section 8, Enforcement Provisions, if they engage in prohibited communication during the restricted period(s).
