Maintenance Flights Clause Samples

Maintenance Flights. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Section 2.01, Contractor shall be entitled to use the Covered Aircraft (i) for the purpose of flying maintenance flights as required to facilitate the proper maintenance of the Covered Aircraft and (ii) for a reasonable number of ferry flights to accommodate Scheduled Flights, in each case, consistent with past practice (all such flights referred to as “Maintenance Flights”).
Maintenance Flights. A functional maintenance flight shall be performed following overhaul, repair, and/or replacement of any engine, power train, rotor system or flight control equipment, and following any adjustment of the flight control systems before the helicopter is returned to service. The flight will be performed at the Contractor’s expense. Results of the maintenance flights shall be reported to and approved by the FS or DOI Aviation Maintenance Inspector before the helicopter is returned to Contract availability.
Maintenance Flights. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Section 2.01, Contractor shall be entitled to use the Covered Aircraft and each Transition Aircraft (and any Spare Aircraft used in lieu of any Covered Aircraft or Transition Aircraft in accordance with the terms of this Agreement) (i) for the purpose of flying maintenance flights as required to facilitate the proper maintenance of such aircraft and (ii) for a reasonable number of ferry flights to accommodate Scheduled Flights (all such flights described in clauses (i) and (ii) referred to as “Maintenance Flights”). Contractor shall timely notify Alaska upon the occurrence of any non-routine Maintenance Flights. ​
