Common use of Maintenance of Records and Documents Clause in Contracts

Maintenance of Records and Documents. The Depositary agrees to maintain or cause its agents to maintain records of all Receipts surrendered and Deposited Securities withdrawn under Section 2.05, substitute Receipts delivered under Section 2.08, and of canceled or destroyed Receipts under section 2.09, in keeping with procedures ordinarily followed by stock transfer agents located in The City of New York or as required by applicable law. The Depositary is authorized to destroy those documents, records, bills and other data compiled during the term of this Deposit Agreement at times consistent with such procedures or applicable law.
