Common use of Major Capital Project Clause in Contracts

Major Capital Project. Any project that involves the construction of a new facility and that has a total project cost of $4 million or more (Major Capital – New Construction), or any project that involves the renovation (repair and rehabilitation) of an existing facility and that has a total project cost of $4 million or more (Major Capital – Renovation). Major Capital Projects may involve the rehabilitation or upgrading of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, infrastructure technology components or systems or any combination thereof.
