Common use of MAJOR FORCE ADJUSTMENT Clause in Contracts

MAJOR FORCE ADJUSTMENT. 10.01 Where any condition arises which reduces the workload in an entire Service Territory or multiple Service Territories, to the extent that, in the Company’s opinion, force adjustment is warranted, the Company and the Union shall endeavor to reach an agreement as to whether a plan of part-timing, temporary transfer, layoffs, or a combination of the three shall be put into effect.
