Common use of Major Outages/Restoral/Notification Clause in Contracts

Major Outages/Restoral/Notification. 12.3.9.1 CenturyLink will notify CLEC of major network outages in substantially the same time and manner as it provides itself, its End User Customers, its Affiliates, or any other party. This notification will be via e-mail to CLEC's identified contact. With the minor exception of certain Proprietary Information such as Customer information, CenturyLink will utilize the same thresholds and processes for external notification as it does for internal purposes. This major outage information will be sent via e-mail on the same schedule as is provided internally within CenturyLink. The email notification schedule shall consist of initial report of abnormal condition and estimated restoration time/date, abnormal condition updates, and final disposition. Service restoration will be non-discriminatory, and will be accomplished as quickly as possible according to CenturyLink and/or industry standards. 12.3.9.2 CenturyLink will meet with associated personnel from CLEC to share contact information and review CenturyLink's outage restoral processes and notification processes. 12.3.9.3 CenturyLink's emergency restoration process operates on a 7X24 basis.
