Common use of Major Repair Clause in Contracts

Major Repair. Actions to be taken for ‘Major Repair’ are as detailed for Minor Repair, however the requirement will be driven by the general condition of the Article, and the increased cost and scale of replacing the missing or defective parts. Where the Contractor defines an Article within this category the details of timescales for completion of repair are to be forwarded to the Authority in accordance with Para. 3.2.1.
