Common use of Manner of Giving Clause in Contracts

Manner of Giving. A communication may be delivered by hand, sent by prepaid post or sent by facsimile transmission to the address of the party or parties to which it is being given and is deemed to have been received: (a) if delivered by hand, upon delivery; (b) if sent by post, 3 business days after posting; and (c) if sent by facsimile transmission, on receipt by the sender of a confirmation report.
