Manual Backup Facilities. 19.1 In the event that: (a) the SWIFT network communications is not available to the Service Provider or any participant or both the Service Provider and the participant; or (b) the participant’s SWIFT CBT is unable to communicate with the host system or is shut down, the Service Provider or participant, as the case may be, shall use MASNET, physical electronic storage media, hand-delivered instructions signed by at least two authorised signatories, or (in the case of payments relating to the CLS system) tested fax, or CBCA, until SWIFT network communications or the participant’s SWIFT CBT is restored.
