MARYLAND RESIDENTS ONLY. Lender and I have agreed that this Agreement is governed by federal law and the laws of Kentucky without regard to conflict of laws rules; if any court should nevertheless determine that this Agreement is subject to Maryland laws concerning credit, then only to the extent that Maryland law applies, Xxxxxx and I agree and elect that this Loan is made under and governed by Subtitle 10, Credit Grantor Closed End Credit Provisions, of Title 12 of the Commercial Law Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, except as preempted by federal law.
