Common use of Material Safety Data Clause in Contracts

Material Safety Data. Sheets (MSDS) Developer is required to ensure Material Safety Data Sheets are available in a readily accessible place at the Site for any material requiring a Material Safety Data Sheet per the federal “Hazard Communication” standard, or employees’ “right to know” law. Developer is also required to ensure proper labeling on substances brought onto the job site and that any person working with the material or within the general area of the material is informed of the hazards of the substance and follows proper handling and protection procedures. Two additional copies of the Material Safety Data Sheets shall also be submitted directly to the District.
