Materials Procurement and Handling Plan. The Construction Manager shall, as part of the Administrative Management Plans, develop and submit a preliminary materials procurement and handling plan. This plan shall include the following: (a) procurement strategy and payment; (b) coordination with separate contractors; (c) the Owner’s operation of adjacent facilities; (d) provisions for both vertical and horizontal transportation and utilization of material and personnel hoists; (e) storage requirements; (f) timing and sequencing the delivery of materials; and (g) requirements for handling and installation of large equipment.
