Maximum Request. The general unpaid leave of absence period shall not exceed ninety (90) days. An employee, who has completed his/her probationary period, who is unable to perform his/her duties because of illness or injury and who has exhausted all ELB & PTO, may upon request, be granted a leave of absence, without pay, of up to one (1) year.
