Common use of MCM Adjusting Services Description Clause in Contracts

MCM Adjusting Services Description. Adjusters performing MCM Adjusting Services, as further described in this Section (each of which shall also be known individually as the “Services,” and, as the case may be, any combination of which shall also be known collectively as the “Services”), will have primary responsibility for all aspects of assigned claims within the limitations set forth in this Agreement, and within other operational directives such as legislative, regulatory or insurance policy changes and other reasonable cause as determined by Citizens. Adjusters will perform, as assigned, the Services described in this Section in accordance with the Best Claims Practices & Estimating Guidelines, including but not limited to with respect to each Adjuster’s authority for loss adjustment expenses and indemnity payments and/or settlements, and escalation of certain trigger issues to Citizens’ supervisory staff as directed. Services may be required outside of Business Hours. In the event of a Catastrophe Deployment, Citizens may require expanded support and Adjusters may be required to provide MCM Adjusting Services for daily and/or catastrophe claims and at substantially increased volumes. If an Adjuster is committed as a CAT Desk Adjuster or CAT Team Lead, each as further described in this Exhibit B, then pursuant to a Catastrophe Deployment, the Adjuster may be required to deploy to a Citizens catastrophe response site to perform these Services for up to twelve (12) hours each day, seven (7) days per week.
