Common use of MCM Services Clause in Contracts

MCM Services. As a part of the MCM Adjusting Services, MCM Services encompass the adjustment, management, and conclusion of a claim. Adjuster responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1. completing a full investigation of the claim facts, cause, and origin; 1.1.2. completing the evaluation of damages to include scoping, estimating, and pricing; 1.1.3. regularly communicating to the policyholder and their representatives the claims status and all information necessary for the management of the claim; 1.1.4. negotiating claim settlement as overseen and within the authority granted by Citizens; 1.1.5. appropriately submitting the request for payment processing to include applicable settlement documents, loss adjustment expense documentation, and correspondence; 1.1.6. completing or correcting any work found to be deficient by Citizens after being submitted for payment processing; 1.1.7. completing other work on the claim as directed by Citizens which may include subrogation, salvage, and assistance in preparation of files for suit; 1.1.8. communication to Citizens of claim status and appropriate reserve needs throughout the life of the claim; 1.1.9. provide supervision of loss adjustment process; 1.1.10. adhere to high standards of professional conduct; 1.1.11. Vendor and its Adjusters shall have no authority to issue coverage-based denial of a claim without prior written approval of Citizens; and, 1.1.12. Comply with all other requirements in the individual claim assignment.
