Common use of MCO Waiver of SNBC Medicaid Cost Clause in Contracts

MCO Waiver of SNBC Medicaid Cost. Sharing.‌ The MCO has chosen to waive Medicaid cost-sharing for community Enrollees for the term of this Contract. The MCO shall have a uniform policy to assure that the same amounts of cost-sharing for the same types of services are waived for all SNBC community Enrollees. Cost-sharing for the following services will be waived for both SNBC SNP and SNBC non-SNP community Enrollees: • Nonpreventive visits; • Non-emergency use of the emergency department; • Family deductible; and • Medicaid Prescription drugs (those prescription drugs covered by Medicaid rather than Medicare, for SNBC SNP Medicare Enrollees and prescription drugs for those eligible for Medicaid only).
