Meal Stops. ‌ Within the first four (4) hour travel period, there shall be a meal stop of not less than one (1) hour. After this first stop, meal stops shall occur at intervals not to exceed five (5) hours. If the trip does not commence until after 12:00 p.m., the first meal stop need not occur for five (5) hours. The actual time utilized for such meal stops shall not be considered part of the travel time.
